Keep getting calls from this number. It hangs up when I answer. Get a recording when I call. It says there's an option to speak to a representative, but it never connects me with a live person. Seems to be a phishing call.
Called a bunch I finally answered, sounded like a busy call center, a guy seemed surprised I answer, asked for me by name, but couldn't pronounce my name properly, I asked what this was regarding, and he hung up. What's the point?
These people call me every year about this time and I've received three calls this week. They claim they are selling an extended manufacturer warranty on my Lexus. I figured it was a scam and contacted Lexus, they said the people calling are definitely not connected with Lexus. I've registered my mobile number on a "do not call" list and it has not stopped them, I've also told them to stop calling me but it does not work. Have blocked the caller number and will see if that works.
