I agree, I think they are trying to earn our confidence. An old song, "Getting to know you, getting to know all about you". Which for the scammers would be your bank number, credit card number, SS number, email, valuables in your house, They would love to know if you have a house alarm, what kind, and where it is. Answer only calls you know, As long as we answer they will keep trying.
When I called the number back got a recording saying the number is not in service which says somebody spoofed the number. If they are legitimate why spoof a number?
