Similar to the above, a recorded message says I MIGHT have won a SUV and to please call back. Of course, I did not enter such a contest and did not call back. A google search for this number shows it associated with a TATA Consulting group on Wacker Drive in Chicago. As with some other "crank" calls I've received and researched, it might be possible that "Jason" spoofed this number and was actually calling from another number. I just don't know, but am reporting the call to the DO NOT CALL registry.
Same here but the name was a Sam Key left the message 866-598-3512 ext. 4786.
But my caller ID show the number 312-674-4565.
Saved it on my voice mail.
Maybe we should all call back at the same time,laughing. Just another spoof I'm sure. I never signed up for the promo either.
I received the same type of call/message 7/11/08 from Sam Key, Sweepstake Promo. I never entered any such a contest, etc. Probably trying to gain your personal info, like 'you only have to pay the taxes,just give me your account number and we' deliver the car', yeah right!! I am reporting this to Do Not Call and my local PD as a scammer/fraud.
Sam Key nonsense again. Male voice says you're a finalist to win a navigator or explorer ... and to call back 866-598-3512 x4786.
