We never fill out any entry cards as we know they sell the info to marketing companies. So, this is a scam. Thinking about reporting this to the FCC or IL Aty. General as this is a Chicago prefix -- if we can figure out how.
"Hey. We're calling in regards to the entry form you submitted to win a brand new Ford Explorer or Cadillac Escalade and your name was pulled as one of our finalists today. Congratulations. It would be in your best interest to return my call as soon as possible. I can be reached at area code 312-674-4724. Again, that number is 312-674-4724. My name again is Jason Lee. It's imperative I speak with you as soon as possible. Once again, congratulations."
I never return calls like this so I can't tell you anything more about the caller. This is the second call of this nature in the past three months or so.
I got the same exact message as Randy on 21 March 2008 - a call from Jason Lee from 312-674-4724 notifying us that we were finalists in the drawing for a Ford Explorer or Cadillac. The caller ID read "Sweepstake Promo" from caller id 312-674-4604.
