Received a call this morning - said they were from Midwest Heating & Cooling and that I had been a customer and my system was due for a cleaning. I'm in WI and noever was a customer of theirs. Told them I was on the Do Not Call list and was reporting them to the FTC.
This is a telemarketing company. Claimed they were with a "heating and cooling" company. Pressed them further and claimed they were with Midwest Heating and Cooling and wanted to offer me an HVAC cleaning for $49. Claimed they had my service records, etc. Asked them to take my phone number off their telemarketing list and hung up on me. Could tell from all the background noise they were telemarketers .... Difficult to understand them as they are probably truly located in India
