My business phone forwards to my cell so I'm not sure if he called our work number or my cell number...I answer the phone with our business greeting, which is very cheerful...Male caller asked to speak to my husband by his name (caller did not know I was his wife). I informed him that "Mr. Smith" (my husband) was not in, asked if there was anything I could help him with, or take a message for "Mr. Smith". He told me "You sound like you're drunk off your [***]...why would I want to leave a message with you?", I couldn't believe what he said, he sounded very professional in the beginning, so I said "excuse me?" and he replied "You sound like your drunk...why don't you go get some coffee and sober up?" then hung up. I called the number back from a blocked phone and recording says "sorry, the number you have reached is not in service, please check the number and dial again"
After going back through my caller ID list, I noticed several other calls from this area code (Chicago area?)...who usually just hang up when I tell them "Mr. Smith" is not available.
RECIEVED TWO CALLS FROM THIS # AND I WASN'T ABLE TO ANSWER. NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT. I TRIED TO CALL BACK # BUT IT IS REPORTED OUT OF SERVICE. HOW CAN THIS BE IF THEY ARE CALLING FROM THIS #??? I HOPE THEY CATCH THIS IDIOT AND REALLY DISCONNECT THIER PHONE. IF THEY CALL AGAIN I WILL BE READY TO RECORD THE CALL! I'M TIRED OF NOT BEING ABLE TO BLOCK CELL PHONE #'S. I HAVE VERIZON AND THEY NEED TO CREATE SOMETHING TO BLOCK THESE CALLS.
