GRRR... guy starts talking about my credit & debit charges and great rating.. LOL.. regarding my business. HA! I did get a license several years back, but other things came up and I never started it! Apparently the local business license office lets info go out into the ether-world!! (!?!) Obviously they also misspelled it, as I constantly get offers for the same business WRONG NAME.
So, anyway, he begins talking about the RISK MATRIX - something to do with UPGRADING so that I can DIRECTLY charge folks for payments. Sound spooky, yet? Going along with this obvious SCAM ( and LOTS of background noise / yacking voices ), he wanted to set up an appointment PERSON TO PERSON, IN YOUR FACE, to discuss, see hard documentation, then decide. I asked what the name of his company was. He only said E.M.V. (even said, as in echo mary victor). Asked if they have a website. NOPE!!! That would not do my business any good, he explained. That is when I laughed and told him off, then hung up. Caller I.D. = MERCHANT SERVICE. Huh? E.M.V.

They called here too and got very rude with me when I said we were not interested (said they were "Merchant Services"). They insisted on talking to the owner and said he needed to call back with a reference number. Sounded very fishy to me!
312-690-4644 called our office too asking for the boss, when told he was not in she said it URGENT that he calls us and gave a reference ID he had to use when calling. When I told her he rarely comes in and if it's that urgent she needed to supply me with more information she said, it's noting bad, it's good news... Yeah, right.. all legitimate businesses discourage use of their name, grrr.
This company is beyond harassing our company. They are Merchant Services/ credit card processing for companies. The insist on speaking to our owner. The owner has talked to them before and he is not interested yet they still call to harass us. They are very rude people too. My boss sat and listened to what they had to say and then said, nope I'm NOT interested and hung up on them. They called right back and demanded speaking with him again. I told them, "if he hung up on you, then he doesn't want to speak with you" They demanded me to put him back on the phone. My boss told me to tell them to go F**K themselves. They still continue to call and i tell them he QUIT! LOL. How can we report them for harassment? How do we get them to stop calling? Help, I'm FED UP!
