The criminal using 312-715-8273 sent a check as if it was for the car I was selling, which I took to Wells Fargo to verify the alleged account for funds and they said it was a bad check. (So good I did not deposit it and end up with a returned check fee and other problems.) Be warned, fellow citizens, of the criminal using 312-715-8273! DO NOT TRY TO DEPOSIT ANY CHECK FROM HIM OR HER. The bank security and hopefully the police and/or FBI will catch the individual.
I also posted on Craigslist and got texts from 3127158273 to buy the car I am selling. Supposedly they will send a check but will not say who they are, said they sent it and then that they will send it. Very weird. Likely a scam.
I TOO WAS SELLING AN ITEM ON CRAIGS LIST AND THEY STATED THAT THEY WOULD SEND A CHECK AND THAT AS SOON AS IT CLEARED THEY WOULD SEND SOMEONE TO PICK THE ITEM UP, I GOOGLE SEARCHED THE PHONE NUMBER AND I SEE ALL THESE POSTINGS, I KNEW FROM THE GET IT WAS A SCAM BECAUSE I SELL ON CRAIGS LIST ALL THE TIME AND I OFTEN GET THESE"OH IM OUT OF THE COUNTRY" OR "I'M ON A SHIP" OR "I'M OUT OF STATE. BEWARE ALWAYS GOOGLE THE EMAIL ADDRESS OF PHONE AND YOU WILL GET YOUR ANSWERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
