I get a call from this # @ least once a week.Our caller id says V07161751360034,?. When we try to call it back the # said no longer in service, so i agree w/ the other poster that said it would transfer you to another operator. Two weeks ago i registered my home & cell numbers w/the FTC, @ https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ , hope this crap stops soon I hate crap like this!
Got a recorded message about lowering my credit card interest rate. Ha! I have one credit card and pay it in full every month. Pressed 1 to get a live person and played along until he wanted card info. I left him hanging for a couple of minutes to "go get the card" and then came back telling him I know this is a scam. He became quite indignant and swore this is a legit service. When I laughingly disagreed he threatened to put a "permanent hold" on me so that I would never be able to get off their list. He then called back 9 minutes later from a different telephone number (D&C Solutions, 407-434-7130) and told me he could play games too. I asked why a legit company would threaten potential customers. No answer. We'll see what happens.
Recorded announcement with an offer to 'lower your credit card debt'. I always enter the number that connects with a 'live' person. When I say I have no credit card debit and I want my name taken off the list one of the following happens 1) They hang up immediately; 2) They connect me with someone else; I give my spiel again and they hang up; or 3) the call hangs up when I enter the number to "speak to one of our agents". I am on the do not call list, but doesn't matter.
