I am also in the Pittsburgh area and received a call from this number in my office well after normal business hours on 3 July 2007. No actual message, but my voicemail recorded some background noise that made it sound as though the caller was on a mobile phone and in traffic?
My son is great guy, has given blood to the Red Cross, got a call about an urgent need for blood, he agreed to a SUNDAY donation app't assuming it was w/the Red Cross to whom he had donated another time and RC would be only ones w/his contact info. Finally did *69 to learn who called him - and learned call was from CHICAGO! We're from Pgh, PA area so they're kidding, right?
Called twice in a 5 minutes period and did not leave a message. I called the number back and got a recorded message calling themselves "Life Source" in Chicago. The message says that they are a blood bank. I like to donate blood but I don't think I will be traveling to Chicago to do so …I live in Pittsburgh!

312-751-1701 this is lifesource. those of you in PA are probably getting the calls because the number was fat fingered. chicago is area code 312 pittsburgh is 412. noticing that there haven't been any other comments in a few years, I'm guessing that they've upgraded to an automatic dialer. :)
