They called but their call was BLOCKED BEFORE THEY ROBODIALED OUR OFFICE!
We have (and have had) the ENTIRE 312 AREA CODE BLOCKED.
These criminals also use the name "Listing" and call from 312 273-1177, 909 259-0335, 845 277-9114, 571 364-0125.
They also call from 361 400-1007 - "Marketing."
ALL of the above area codes are blocked thanks to our Digitone call blockers - we have two Digitone call blockers on our business line. Currently, we have168 area codes blocked.
We are a local business operating in S. California and we do not have accounts in any other parts of the US.
We have found that blocking AREA CODES works better for our business.
We urge that everyone purchase call blocking phones or devices - they are inexpensive and they work!
We received (as did many others) an illicit call from 312-757-6017. We currently use a Parliant product on our Mac Pros which can be programmed in multiple languages. Once the caller makes a call, we simply go to the screen and select if the caller is "trusted", or "Blocked", or any other categories established by the user.
To our knowledge this is the only software which comes with hardware to connect outside lines via a powered USB port which operates 24/7. Although Parliant recently announced it is no longer supporting this item, there are some new 2nd generation blocking products available with caller "id" items.
Caution: Do not use the "Do Not Call" registry. It was setup up by President Bush in 2003. However the current administration does not support nor endorse the registry .
Google is NOT calling you. The caller doesn't even know if you have a Google account. They are riding on the popularity of Google to scam you. Anytime someone says they are calling from Google, hang up. Nothing negative will happen to any Google account you may have.
