Caller told me I had a change in my merchant card and I asked him what is the account number? He said he does not have that information and I said then you are not from my company and I hung up on him. (!)
They left a message at the front desk. Would not leave a voice mail. I did not return the call but the message was "notifying of a change in current merchant account." We don't have a merchant account so based on MOTchicago's post I assume this is a marketing call.
guy called about some new BS changes that will effect our merchant services account. I let him get into his speech for a bit, then I told him that it was funny that you called, because WE DO NOT HAVE A MERCHANT SERVICE ACCOUNT. he asked "don't you accept cards". (No) "I will update the file" "Click" Must be a SCAM.
Got 6 calls in two days....will not take NO for an answer. I repeatedly asked to be removed from the call list. They are a merchant service making cold calls....VERY RUDE PEOPLE. Hang up on them will only having them call back...
