Cleo...how did you find out the salary of the rabbi. I too have been giving over the years with under 30K a year. If this is true, I will give elsewhere.

Another thing is to check carefully all the Veteran Charities that are cropping up. There are those out there who use our boys and they see none of the money or a very small percentage of it.
I contributed to this organization one time, IFCJ. Ever since I get calls continuously, begging for more money to line Rabbi Eikistons pocket. I read up on where the money goes, biggest part of it goes to his salary and not to evangelism and other things of importance. They are a scam, don't take their calls just let you answering system deal wih it. Now their hiding behind Bar Association so you won't find them out. I hate people like this.
At one time, I donated to the IFCJ. I am no longer financially able to do this. I get calls, sometimes three times per day, 7 days per week, and often the caller ID says, "BAR Association." After thinking about this, and admittedly being annoyed, I decided to call the organization back and courteously and civilly address my thoughts. David, an employee with IFCJ, was unaware that the organization was using "BAR Association" as their identity on the Caller ID, and that they were calling as often and at the hours at which they did. He was very nice and apologized and gave me the corporate number. I did call them, and told them that as an organization that represents itself as being "Christian", that I felt their practices were deceitful and harassing, and that I didn't think that Jesus Himself would conduct business that way. The woman who took my call at corporate sounded genuinely concerned and a bit bothered herself at the organization's "tactics." It is my feeling that a lot of the "underlings" are not aware that the organization is doing these things, and they may feel a bit "used" and exploited. I recommend that everyone who is irritated to put action to lip service and call corporate yourself. If we all do this, perhaps they will stop. The corporate number is: 312-641-7200
