Caller from 312-775-1288 keeps calling and not leaving a number. Must be a scammer or a telemarketer. How can ordinary consumers and citizens protect themselves from getting called 100 times by these idiots? I feel helpless now!

It isn't a scam. I know I signed up for surveys and they sent me a product to try out and they are calling to get feedback from that product. At some point, you must've provided your phone number.
This is a legitimate company that does surveys for their business. Either you gave them your number when you filled out a survey to be contacted at a later date or someone gave them your number as a "fake" number because they didn't want to be contacted themselves. They are polite and if you aren't the person who signed up for the survey just POLITELY tell them it's the wrong number.
I enjoy doing surveys for Synovate and have earned $50 so far..not bad for trying new products and giving my opinion on them huh?
