Just got the same message this person needs to be stopped has anyone reported it. Someone is going to get sucked in

We put our Bike up for sale on Kijiji last Sunday and received the same e-mail as everyone above:

Thanks for the prompt reply,My name is Rebecca Dagg, i believe my son Donald sent you a text message to email me for the sale,I would like to know the lowest price,more pictures and its present condition because i cant come over to inspect it,i am buying it locally here in Canada for my son studying/working abroad  (Malaysia).I am work at sea as i am a marine biologist (i work  on the St-Lawrence river in Quebec. my office: Pilotes du  Bas-St-Laurent] and due to the nature of my work, phone calls is restricted, i can only use my ipad to partially  communicate.I am really sure he will be more than happy if i am able to purchase it from you because this is  what he want and chose from the Advert.
You need not worry yourself about how it will get to him there in Malaysia as i have a contact of shipping  company there that will be handling the pick up and all the paper work.

Thanks for the  information, it was really of immense help,i am really interested in buying it and i want to go ahead with the purchase, i am pleased with the price but I can only conclude the transaction through PayPal for our own protection,PayPal act as a neutral third party. it is safe,secure and reliable.

I insisted on PayPal mode of payment because i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking but i can pay from my PayPal account  as i have my bank a/c attached to it and also due to the fact that i am currently offshore and I won't definitely be able to make it to my bank to wires money across to you.It is what safe and convenient for me.

As we have never advertised on Kijiji before we were not aware of this scam but we were told by a friend after we replied to the first e-mail to always Google any e-mails wanting to purchase in this manner and to see the similar scams they have tired in the past and low and behold here we've become apart of the WARNING chain.   Tell them Cash & in person only and delete them as you don't want to be caught up in a potential mess you can’t get out of.

...Like I said in my first e-mail, I live in London, UK. I bought the camera while I was working in Paris but I had to move back home. I want to sell it there because the warranty and all the paperwork are in french and it's much easier.

But if you're interested I will send it through a shipping company and you will benefit of a 3 days inspection period. That means you can look at it and check everything and if you find any kind of problems with it or it's not as described, you can send it back at no costs on your behalf.

You don't have to pay anything more than the asking price. That way we are both protected.
