Why does most people on this thread have their drawers in a wad? It's just Toys R Us calling to wish a child at your number a Happy Birthday. Like someone above mentioned, your number may have belonged to someone who had their child registered with their birthday club. Just call and have your number removed. I didn't pickup because for whatever reason my caller ID registered the call being from Chicagoznoi IL. They left a birthday wish on my voicemail for my grandson and a number to call if the call was in error. Geez. I know there are lot of scammers and crap calls out there (believe me I have had my share), give these guys a break. They are doing something postive in the world and not trying to get their hands into your back pocket. Have blessed day!!!
Just received a call from this number on a brand new cell phone, how do they get the numbers so quickly? I called Toys'r us and asked where they got the number from and they said "Oh, it was probably some sort of solicitation call, I don't know where they get the numbers from"!!
"Why does most people on this thread have their drawers in a wad? It's just Toys R Us calling to wish a child at your number a Happy Birthday. " Oh yeah? Then why are they calling a business number? I saw what it was on the caller ID, picked up and hung up. Got a call immediately after from "Out of Area" and lo and behold it was the same Toys R Us robo call wanting to wish the child in the household a happy birthday. This is a business number. More than likely some nimrod putting what they think is a bogus number on what ever card they filled out.
People just call and have the number removed, my son gets a call every year and it makes him feel important that people remember his special day! That is the whole purpose, I mean its something when your family members remember you, but for a young child it is special that Geoffrey is calling! Take a chill pill and live life a little! Geez
No, it's not because they ask for you number, someone registered with their birthday club, to receive a phone call from Geoffrey - just call and have your number removed. Obviously, the person who registered either changed their number, or wrote it down incorrectly.
