I got some quotes from health insurance websites last night, and this morning I got a phone call from this number. The person spoke too fast for me to catch the real name of the company, but I assumed that was a phone call from the company to which I applied my insurance policy. I was not ready to speak for the moment, so I asked if I could return a call from me, and asked her name. When I called back to the phone number using the person's name (Dorothy), the person was not available. Someone else started asking about my interest in insurance coverage and stuff, then I realized I was not talking to the right agent. I asked, "Are you representing Wellmark or eHealthinsurance?" The person on the other phone didn't clearly tell her company's name but kept telling me she represent many insurance companies. It was obvious that they did not have my application, but just my name and phone number. I told the person I would not have to repeat my information as everything is on the application I had filled the night before. As she was not identifying herself clearly, I just decided to end the conversation without feeding her my information. I am glad I was not fooled by fast-speaking rep who could wrongly communicate someone whose English is not the first language. I can speak, read, and write English fine, but not enough to catch that fast speed in accents.
I have to admit this robocall is persistent! I've not answered it for the three (3!) times so far today. Why have I not answered this number? Thanks to sites like 800notes I find out I've missed out on nothing except an elevation of my blood pressure.
I was searching for insurance on line, as soon as I put in my cell phone# & hit enter, not a minute passed before I got a phone call. It was a call back from Coventry One.... Healthcare
OMG the same thing is happening to me. My phone keeps on ringing. What a mistake that was for putting in our cell #'s. I thought that you just needed to fill out the form to get the on-line quote, but I guess this was not the case. The hawkers are out and won't stop. The person calling from Conventry Health the area code is 312 will never say anything, just keeps calling and calling and hanging up. There should be something that can make them stop.
same here, just one site to get FREE quotes for health insurance and I am getting more than enough rings on my mobile!! ANNOYING! When I do answer, no one says anything
