I too just registered a domain name (at My Domain). Coincidentally, a GoDaddy rep with an Indian accent had called me the same day selling website services. This number called twice, hung up on me. The 3rd time, they mispronounced my name with a heavy Indian accent, then hung up on me. I never found out what they wanted. However, I been getting numerous calls since I registered a website. I seriously suggest privacy registration, or better yet; once you paid for website, go back on and change everything to fake information except for a NEWLY created email address.
I think it's the dirtbags at Godaddy selling our info, too coincidental from the comments I see here. I'm not paying 7.99 a year for the privacy option.
