I got an email from a guy who listed his name as Johnathan from Cooper Law Firm and it said the exact same thing as Justlettingyouknow's email did. That I was being sued by a Payday Loan Conpany for $749. So I called the # listed and a recording of a guy with a foreign accent told me to leave my name and # and I didn't because right then and there I knew something wasn't right. Instead I traced the # which was in Chicago, Il. Then I googled and called the real Cooper Law Firm office and forwarded him the email for investigation cause he said I was the 3rd person to call with this same problem. Then I called my bank and a few other legal #'s cause who ever this is don't know that this time HE GOT THE RIGHT ONE!
I owe for online payday loan 749.00 and they are pressing charges against me if not resolved also sending information to my job. My SSN will be black listed and I won't be able to get credit or a job. I have been scammed before not this time. It's a guy with heavy accent and my email states for security purposes can not make payment by checking debit and or credit card payments thru money gram only. The guy said he was Jonathan Cooper with Cooper law firm pc
I got an email from this law firm saying It's Coooer Law Firm stating the same thing. One it's illegal to send people's information over email cause it can be viewed public. Then look up the firms name no Attorney by that name works for the firm
