I got a call from a guy claiming to be a detective and said my mother who mind you is very ill had been implicated amongst others in a felony case said he'd give her 24 hrs. to call before casting a net and picking everyone up. I freaked out and come to find out it's a scam! I want to report to the real police for false identification as a public servant.
Got then same message. Your being investigated in two fraudulent check cases. Felony charges are pending. If you are, or know mike I'll be expecting your call before 3pm or felony charges will be filed. To many reports on this number here and on other sites though. Just someone trying to bleed you before the holidays.
I have gotten the same call from investigator and felony charges are pending on fraudulent check. First of all they cant be leaving messages like that on voicemail....THIRD PARTY DISCLOSURE! They call me twice a day and leave threatening mess. Its starting to get annoying. They want me to send $$ through Moneygram. This sounds like a scam!!
Got a call from a guy asking for me, full name, he had my ssn dob and everything. Which terrified me. I recently filed for a credit monitor and know what's on my credit. He stated he was a attorney or someone representing Check N Go. How I had three felonies and so on. I said No I don't, he went on about being locked up and so on. I said wrong person. I've had something similar done in the past. He had a country accent and sounded older in age. 312-912-7375 was the number. What's going on?
