Received call from this number but did not answer since I didn't recognize it and the only person I know in Illinois is my daughter and that is definitely not her number. They didn't leave a msg.
One of many calls all the sudden today for payday loans, Caller disconnected when I answered.

No clue who is on the other side, they hold the phone in mute.
I do not owe anybody any money, so it cannot be a bill collector, and they would talk their heads off rather than the silent harassment.
Averaging over ten calls today and they day's not done yet.
Should be a law against that sort of thing.
I got 13 such phone calls yesterday- five of them from different illinois phone numbers. Why ISN"T this illegal? I never answer any number I don't recognise. I am on the Do Not Call list, which apparently is worthless. My husband recently answered the phone, no one there, called back and told them to take him off their list. They said okay and hung up. Of course the calls have quadrupled since then.
I've been called by this number in Chicago and several others in this area over the past couple days. They are averaging about 10 phone calls a day. Really annoying!
