I just got a call from them today. They said I was not making payments on my Mastercard. I told them I do not have a Mastercard which I don't. They started arguing with me and said I did. I pointed out that I am not the only person in the world or even my area wtih this name. Then they asked if the last 4 digits of my SSN was some number which does not match mine. I told them no and they gave up and hung up.
Got a call from the same number today....
Here's what you do...it is a Collection Agency....but...
IMMEDIATELY tell them that you are recording the call. Any collection agency will hang up most likely...but truthfully, record the call. I can do so on my cell while on the line. It works wonders and you would also have a case against them if they are rude.
