Accidentally called (312) 929-8723, guy name Brandon answered and was a complete jerk. Berated me as if I bothered him, then read all these comments coming from his answer. He doesn't mind bothering all of you but when you call him - look out!
Called them back, she said the donors are turning down the option of donating blood and they still need to keep the supply up. I told her that I was below the minimum required weight, (below 100 lbs) and I'm unable to provide a donation. Then I asked her to remove me from the call list. She said they would comply.
It's LifeSource. Yeah, their calls are pretty relentless and annoying but they really do provide a required service. I've seen LifeSource vans delivering blood to clinics and hospitals so I relented and scheduled an appointment.
For the record, no, I don't work for them nor am I shill posting - my father needed blood at one point in his life and I was grateful that people donated. Even if it's not through LifeSource, please donate if you can :-)
Life Source.... They have been told, even begged on many occasions to stop calling here as the person they are looking for does not live here. They continue to call,.. wake my son and myself up (since we work odd hours) and show absolutely no courtesy or respect when they are asked over and over again to remove us from their phone list. I am on the "Do Not Phone" registry, (not that that means anything anymore)! I am looking into to filing charges against them in small claims court for untold times they woke us unnecessarily. Please help stop this nightmare.... somebody!
