It's Argosy University calling probably for the 100th time for telemarketing reasons. If you added this school onto your FAFSA (Example: like a year ago) - - these people do not stop calling or sending you advertisements in the email. Yes ... we all know it is annoying.
If you get a phone call from (312) 957-8799 - - they will not leave a message.
Your phone will ring like 2 times and then the school representative hangs up.
They will call late at night, hours that do not make sense.
Example, I received a phone call close to 10:30 and to be honest, I was like, "Why that late? For what? Are they that desperate to get marketing done in the wee hours of the late night??"
People have lives you know....
And they (Argosy University) will call during the day, leaving no message at all.
Same thing, the ringer will last about 2-3 times and the rep hangs up with no message on your answering machine.
Pointless.
So, call the gay [***] number back. Explain you do not want them calling any more and to have your name plus phone number removed immediately from their calling / school list.
The AU rep is going to talk their head off, so just politely say, "NO" and hang up. Simple.
If they keep chit chatting, it's cuz that's what they are paid for and just hang up.
Personally, it sucks, but you can also go to the Do Not Call government website to add their name (phone number) through the registration system to have these telemarketers to stop calling.
