My voicemail transcribed the message that was left as follows. Obviously a scam.
"Hi Bruce Shepherd here with n(?) calling in regards to the twenty five thousand dollar give away that was being sponsored within the last eighteen months. We are looking at your name and number here is we have very good news for you so congratulations. What you need to do as soon as possible is give us a call here in the office at 18669336017. Again that's toll free 18669336017. We'll look to hear from you soon and congratulations."
A few minutes ago Brett came up my driveway in a brand new SUV and handed me the keys. I can't believe I actually won something!!!!! This baby is loaded!!!! Loaded with manure, that is...just like Brett and anyone who is associated with him and his scam. I would not recommend anyone get involved, unless you are a farmer and need the manure to fertilize your crops. Maybe you can get Brett to spread it across your field.
Caller left message of winning $50,000 prize and left a different number to call. I found out from others reporting of this number being a scam. I do not plan to call in, I never entered any contest.
At 8:22 AM today I received a call from this number. Responding to the call I answered, only to hear nothing from the calling party. The above comments have prompted me to report this to www.fcc.gov as a Robocall from a Telemarketer. If enough irritated homeowners do the same thing, the FCC will track down the calling party and fine them.
