The caller, which showed up as z Connor, tried to interrupt a phone conversation I was having. I finished the conversation and tried to return the call several times and got only a busy signal each time.
Received a call from this number and 312-962-0079 on both of our home phone numbers within 30 minutes . They are apparently working 931-762-xxxx this morning.
Both hung up when answered. Both numbers are on DNC.
I got a call from 312-962-0225 at 8:40pm tonight on my landline. I live in California and Chicago is my hometown so I knew that 312 is a Chicago metro area code and it was 10:40 their time. But I just moved to this residence and haven't given out the landline number to anyone and the only reason I got the landline at all was because the complex has a gate around it that can only be operated by a landline so if anyone visits I can't buzz them in without a landline. I've had so many telemarketer calls I just put the number on the Do Not Call list. But this was the first one to leave a message. He didn't leave his name and he didn't reference my name. He just said he was calling about a sweepstakes I had entered a while back for $50,000 that was finally over and that I had won one of the prizes. He left an 800 number or some toll free number (I can't remember and I didn't write it down) to call. When I picked up the message, I looked at the caller ID and wasn't sure. Since I'm from Chicago and I know some sweepstakes end in some crazy far off date and if you don't read the fine print....but there were too many red flags and I haven't lived in Chicago for 7 years so I decided to try to look up the number before I called the number. I'm glad I found this website and appreciate everyone who posted something. I know my post may not be that helpful because I didn't actually call the number but I hope it helps someone else in the future think twice.
Received a call today from John Hill stating I had won $25,000 in a sweepstakes that I entered sometime within the last year and please call back at 1-866-933-6012
