I received a text from [email protected] that said this:

Please call at 1 312 962 0439 For Details. United B. And Trust Alert.

If you get this, do not call. It is a scam. I do not bank with UBT. Even if I did, they would not send me a text telling me to call an out of state (unlisted) number. Also, if there was an alert, they would send a letter out to their customers, not text them. Please be aware not to call this number, or to give out any information regarding your banking information unless you have initiated the call and you know who you are speaking with. -----you can verify this by calling your local branch office or by going to your bank in person.
