received a robo call from 312-985-5366 claiming to be from the IRS saying that they were filing a lawsuit against me.
The IRS DOES NOT CALL ANYONE.I know that to be a fact because I work for them. The IRS will SEND you a letter if there is a problem with your taxes. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE CALLS. THEY ARE SCAM CALLS INTENDED TO SCARE YOU INTO GIVING PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE CALL SO THEY CAN STEAL YOUR IDENTITY.

It's not the true IRS.  Christmas is close.  Frauds looking to make some easy money.

I let the machine answer.  Female voice claimed, "IRS is filing a lawsuit against you," and instructed me to call back at the number above.

Just received a call from 312-985-5366...same thing the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you...yet another number to block.

Just got a call from the same number. A man with an accent said I was being sued. He gave his name AND his "IRS" ID number. When I asked his name as I "did't get it" when he told me, he hung up! Obviously a scam! Call came in at 8:15am. So, beware sometimes they do give (fake) ID numbers!
