Got call today--didn't answer because of 000.Glad I didn't Last week early in the AM, got a call from microsoft scam. Just hung up when oriental.Indian voice started talking.
This number in Michigan called my landline. Didn't recognize the number, so I didn't pick up. The caller didn't leave a message, so, of course, I didn't return the call
Received a call from this number at 9:10 this morning and again at 12:41. Said he was with Windows and they had detected errors on my computer... I said "Get a real job!" and hung up.
Called me. Some oriental guy. Said my computer was hacked. He said he was from microsoft. When I said all of my pc's were powered off at the time he go frustrated and said there was no way because all of my computers were being hacked as we speak. I told he where to go and hung up while he tried to tell me to email them and send them money. Then he also said he was from AIG. .Yeah right! SCAMMER!!!
These people call continually and say they are from Windows and that I have a virus that is compromising my personal information. They have called from several numbers and become belligerent when I question them. They all sound as though they are from India and most the male voices say their name is Phillip. I now answer and ask them if they would want their mothers to fall prey to this and have they yet been bitten in the ads by all the bad karma they are creating for themselves. Do not allow anyone to access your computer. I think they got my info from a coupon website.
