They consistently call and once picked up and they said my name, then they hung up...picked up, again, tonight and saying how they would like another donation...explained i told them i am giving locally...they say, well, it's there service providing for them..asked were they in Mich., yes, and asked for website info, gave me it...but, if you want to contact them it's Knoxville, Tenn.

they just keep calling, different numbers, different locations, asked to be taken off call list which made things worse. local phone company won't do anything. must be a way to stop them
I called this number (for CMC) and reported them. I too, have been receiving several calls from them and when I answer, they hang up, although I can hear them in the background. Perhaps they have to connect with a number of calls to get credit? The woman at CMC said she would report it and call me back on Thursday. It will be interesting if I get a call back!
have found simple solution to unwanted calls - spend a few dollars on a new phone that has call blocking. Panasonic has a unit that you can block calls. Have a little more peace of mind.
