Multple calls from this number, call number back answering machine states closed, call back during normal business hours 7-4 M-F Pacific time (was normal hours when I called). Who knows where the call is coming from..........
This number has been calling me once a week for the last few weeks. I always missed the call because I was working, but yesterday I was actually able to pick up. They asked for my mother and I said this was her daughter and they rudely proceeded to end the call when asked if this call was about the car. My car is a lease and my mother is the first on the lease so I thought that's what it to be about. They didn't state what company they were calling from but did describe my vehicle correctly. They told me that my warranty had expired and asked if I wished to purchase an extended warranty. I told the man that my warranty was not expired and I didn't wish to purchase an extended warranty on a car that
I would be returning to the dealership in 5 months. I've had a similar call about my previous vehicle which was bought used and I owned. Not sure how the person got my cell phone number that time.
We've been getting SEVERAL calls from this number every day on our cell phones. Most of the time there is no one on the other line, just silence and then an abrupt disconnect of the call. When I did finally speak with them, they also stated that they are "calling about an expired warranty on our vehicle". I've told the caller we are not interested, and asked if they could please remove our number from their system. Their reply was, "This is the first time we've contacted you!?"
If you are interested in extending your warranty... I'd recommend going directly to your dealership agent to discuss (rather than doing business with this entity... which is definitely a scam).
We ended up having to BLOCK incoming calls from 313-230-1307 via our cellular service provider. What a pain!
I am on the DNC registry and just received a call from this number. Since they didn't leave a message, I decided to look up to see who is calling me and came across this.
1) I am annoyed about them calling when my number is on the registry.
2) My lease vehicle is only about 6 months old with 4K miles...why are they bothering me already
This company should be fined not only for violating the DNC registry, but also for spoofing numbers. I know they are not located in the 313 area code, yet the number on the ID comes up as such.
