We got the call, I didn't want to talk to them, so told them to call and talk to my husband, that usally works, people don't want to call back, I was wrong, I told them to call in the evening they call at 3:30 p.m. not the evening time. Then the called me back two times in a row till someone answered. My husband talked to them, offer sounded to good to be true, so hs aid he would have to think on it. That was last night. I have had 5 calls already today from them. I have not answered any of them, but I plan on it next time. They are just not leaving a message and you can hear stuff in the backgound.
I got the same call and he said he was with dish network. He gave me his so called name Samuel L. Scott. ID# 12004. I was a Scott before I got married and I am not foreign. He claims he is Africian American. Trust me, his accent is not. I am French and Scotchish. However, some Scott's are Africian American. NOT HIM. He even had me look up dishnetwork.com on the internet to verify the information. However, the phone number was different. I ordered the service and gave him my card number. Then he wanted my social security number. WE argued about it for several minute. He said I needed to give it to him to insure the equipment. He got a supervisor to talk to me. He also wanted the last 4 numbers of my social. I hung up and canceled my card. I was on line looking up the number and he called back. When I hung up and tried to make a call he was still on the line. VERY WEIRD!

I just now got a call from this number. There was a person on there who knew my name but just hung up while i was trying to talk to her. I called back but got a disconnected recording as well. This person is pretty weird. Maybe the person is just disguising their real number with this one that everyone gets kind of like *67.
These guys called about three nights in a row a few weeks ago at 9:30 at night. When I asked them to stop calling they told me they didn't have a "do not call list" and when I asked for a manager, they hung up. They called again this afternoon. After first playing along, I told the guy I wasn't intersted and if they continued to call me, I would only take joy in wasting their time (and their money of course). It was after disclosing my ultimate solution that the telemarketer said he would put me on the "do not call list". We'll see how that works.
