Got two identical texts in rapid succession from this out-of-state number, in response to our local Craigslist ads. The only thing that varied was the specific item information, but that info was EXACTLY the title-price-location from the posting. Each message said (with item specifics redacted in angle-brackets):
"<title - price (location)> still available pls??"
Did not respond. Forwarded to 7726 to report to cell provider and blocked.
Got a text after I posted on Craigslist "pls, give me your full names and address as i'm paying by MO and will also add extra $30 for the delay and your time". [***] soon as I asked cash only, he never replied to me. Totally a scam!
