Individual called my cell, asked for someone else, politely said they had the wrong number then they proceeded to try and solicit money from me. I said I believed they had the wrong number and they were rather annpyed and hung up on me while I was still trying to understand why they were calling. Very disrespectful.
called my cell phone. Knew my given name (not used on any emails or cell phone account), not my nickname, said it was a "courtesy call" for disabled veteran's organization. I just hung up on them.
asked for Kirk. When I said Kirk who, he just said Kirk again. I asked him to give me the first and last name of the person he wanted to talk to, then he said he'd switch me to his manager. No one answered at the transferred number, but said to leave a message. I hung up.
Called and left no voicemail. I called back and someone answered "hello". I explained that someone from this number called me and left no voicemail and the man went into a schpeal about raising money for disabled veterans.
