yes they are a fake,I called the creditor they were supposedly working for and said company had never heard of them.they informed me to call my bank and to call the police.which I did so be very aware!! of these people.they are also going by the name dbs-bcn.
Got this same voice mail......I have turned it over to my local Police Dept. Do not give out any information. For one, a person has to tell you who they are, and what the call is about. Don't be no fool
I agree...this call is bull s- - -......Mat you are right. Who ever this is calling, they are calling near the Coleman A. Young International Airport. They are scammers. These people are so ridiculous-I called my Lawyer and she contacted them directly,and when she called it does not even give you a buisiness name all it says is you have reached the information center someone will be with you shortly-it actulley sounded like the same voice recording guy who left the message.So when my Lawyer asked for the location and legal address in order for her to file legal papers against them for false collections they responded with "well all I can tell you is that we are located somewhere in NY but for security reason's they will not disclose the address. PFFT yeah okay-scammers,scumbags and idiots. They told my Lawyer that if I contacted them directly they would send something via email-my Lawyer pretty much told them that legally any supposed real debt collector would send something by good old fashion mail,legally they have to,but since these A-holes are a bunch of scammers they cannot back that up!!!! Do not give these idiots any information-I contacted my local Police Department as well as the F.B.I . Oh and one more thing when my Lawyer told them that they could be served themselves for posing as fake debt collectors they hung up!
