They call my work every 20-30 minutes, but there's never any sound on the line- no one talking, no background noise, nothing. I've tried waiting a full minute (my phone times calls automatically) and nothing.
Called at 9:30pm. No response when I answered. A lot of noise in the background, I put the call on hold and they stayed connected for maybe two minutes before finally hanging up.
Very irritating and very rude hung up after he insisted me give acct # even said call was being recorded and he didn't want to lose his job what a scam so sick of these calls
Don't these [***] EVER Give UP?!?! He called ME about forty minutes ago. He told me he was from Consumers Energy (which IS the Gas Company.) I pretended to play along..."HONEY-where's the Gas Bill?? NO-that's the DTE Electric Bill!"...etc. I was humming on the phone while I "searched for the bill in the study." Then-like Colonel Hartman punching "Joker" in the Solar Plexus I said "you know-I'm on the Do Not Call List-you [***] Moog [***]!!" and hung up. I've been called by the phony IRS (Warning-they NOW send official-looking snail mail letters) purveyors of "arthritis cream" credit card bill lowering scams, student loan repayment scams, phony auto warranty salesmen (who seem to Know the make and model of my car) and the ever-popular computer tech support. There is also the "Free Wireless alarm" Filipinos. They keep moving you up the ladder until somebody makes you an appointment (the latter is an actual American alarm installer.) When he called me up, I explained that I was playing along with a Scam. BTW-the auto warranty stuff is a Filipino-and they move you up the chain to an African American from some Inner City. I call them the N Word and ask them if they know who their Daddy is-and hang up.
