They claim to be from Lakeshore Energy wanting to speak with the person in charge of the gas account. I told them we don't use natural gas and we lease the building. I asked them to stop calling and they said "we will just call back at a better time." I hope there is a lawyer out there with some extra time sues these guys and puts them out of business. These guys call everyday and will not stop. Filed a FCC complaint. Hopefully that will stop them.
Scammers. I talked to Lakeshore Energy, my current supplier, and it is someone pretending to be Lakeshore to get your account info and switch you to a different gas company.
Some guy named Rob called asking to speak to someone in charge of the natural gas account. I know he was a telemarketer but I put him on hold to double check the number he was calling on. I confirmed what I already knew and told the guy we were not interested and he rudely asked "well who is we? I want to speak to someone in charge of the natural gas account and you aren't, correct?" Well I have never spoke to a telemarketer who was that rude so I said we weren't interested, stop calling, this is a business and I hung up. Past experiences from this number they are usually nice but persistent....but not this guy.
They called my work again, this time it was Catherine Ross wanting to speak to someone about the consumers energy account. I put her on hold until she finally hung up. Guess that's what I'll do for now.
They asked for the person authorized to discuss Consumer Gas bill.
We told them the landlord handles that (not really). Then they said have a great day and hung up.
