I answered the call and it is a recording allegedly for GE Home Security. I received a similar call yesterday. Both times, the recording starts out "Hi, this is Todd from GE Home Security. Can you hear me okay?" I immediately disconnected.
Yes--I got the same thing. I asked him if he was a recording. He did not answer but continued to talk. I said, "I have 5 dogs. I do not need a home security system." He hung up without further comment. I think it's a recording.
