Left a message claiming to be DTE energy. I did not call them back because the number they called is not associated with any DTE account. Contact with the real DTE confirmed that this is not one of their phone numbers and that there was no problem with my account. To be safe, you should probably NOT give whoever this is calling any personal information.
Got the same type of call as SG. This phone number has called me frequently but haven't answered since I didn't recognize the number. Then Thursday, a woman left a message from this number saying it was a "courtesy call" from DTE. Like SG, my number isn't the one associated with my DTE account. I was going to call back but now I think I'll skip. Our DTE account is current and our last payment just cleared.
