I have been getting calls from (313) 576-4151 for a couple of weeks. No messages. The calls are at all hours. I received a call Sunday night at 9:01 p.m., and again today. If this is the Red Cross, this is an annoying way to generate blood donations. I feel like a jerk complaining about the Red Cross; if they texted or emailed, I wouldn't mind the contact so much. I deleted my phone number from my profile there; we'll see if the calls stop. I imagine that I am now in their marketing system and will get these calls forever. Annoying!
It's Red Cross. This is a bad bad idea. They call nearly every day, always back to back. Like a debt collector or a stalking ex. Its BAD! They really shouldn't make people feel like they OWE donations. I give because my niece had cancer when she was 3 and I know how vital blood and platelets are. But they way they call would turn off a casual or first time donor from wanting to donate again. I think I'm going to start filing complaints.
They must be employing some third party calling agency that uses a bot to call and they treat it like debt collection. AWFUL
I just wish they would leave a message!!! Glad to know who it is though- but they call every day while I'm at work and never leave a message. So irritating!!
