I got 2 texts from 313-587-9808 "My name is Sam" "Are you a boy girl" ! How do they get our ph#s? The funny thing is that my phone shut itself off and it has never done that before! And the texts were sent as soon as I turned my phone on! It's like he knew I had just turned my phone on! Very strange!
Report tho your local LE and also file a complaint with your phone service provider. For the landline: If you have a call blocking device or phone, block the number. For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:
For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Called. When I didn't respond sent me a text saying "this is Sam, call me." I responded asking for the person to delete my number, Sam responded that he/she liked me. I asked this person to delete my number and stop harassing me. The person responded "no."
Back at it in 2020. Called me at 10pm, hung up and sent 8 text messages saying it was Sam. Asked if I have a boyfriend or girlfriend and that they are not gay. ? People are annoying af. I didn't reply, called the next morning. Search online to see this number has been doing this for 5+ years?
