Must be hiring brainless monkeys for this type of work! If they purport to be a Charity then they MUST tell you upfront who they are and if they don't then you can report them to DNC, FTC, and FCC! I'm totally sick of telemarketers so I'm going to invent "phone darts" so when they annoy me, I have the right to employ a "phone dart" thru the telephone line and blast the [***] ear off!!
