Briva seems to be working from alternate phone numbers as well. They claimed to be IRS awarding me a grant and wanted bank routing information.

My wife answered when they called and asked for her by first name. She said it sounded like a call center in the background and the caller was definetly foreign. Looks like they are using some sort of phone number masking device... (707) 398-9071 is the number. 398 is a cell phone prefix number in our area.
