Got a call from Andy Davis with the Arbitration Dept at CSR stating that a pay day loan had been opened with my name and ss# and had not been paid back. Said they would serve me with papers at my home or place of business or I could settle for $400. Never got served. Filed a police report and Police state this sounds like a scam. They advised that I place a security alert on my ss# with all 3 credit bureaus and run credit report. Andy called back 3 weeks later with my License Plate# stating my driver's license and ss# have been flagged as a state of refusal. If I don't respond, the case will proceed to the fullest extent of the law. Never had a pay day loan or an account at the bank mentioned. Nice try!
I received a call from 313-925-3200 asking me to call them back at 855-812-3861 regarding a case. I have no idea what this is in regards to, the message cuts off. scam!!!!
CSR calls me multiple times a day from at least 8 different numbers. They always state the same thing: that I owe for a payday loan and that papers will be served. I do not have any loans with payday companies. The few times that I have talked to them, they state they do not have to provide any paperwork showing that I obtained a loan and did not pay it back. If you can't prove that a person owes, then you can't collect. I simply no longer answer calls with area codes I don't recognise.
