I work here at St. John's & it is our # for some of our office buildings...it includes Human Resources, Benefits & Patient Accounting. So it would include our collectors trying to contact patients re: their accounts. We are aware of this problem & our IT team is trying to fix it.
We are not trying to be rude or annoying & we don't hang up on you, there is a mix-up with our phone # & we are trying to correct the problem. Hopefully it will be fixed soon & you will stop receiving these calls.
it's me again...it also includes patient pre-registration for tests, appts, etc. This # is used for a lot of different areas at St. John's but there has been a mix-up with our # & we don't know why people are receiving these calls when no one is on the other end. Our IT dept is working on getting this resolved.
12/4/08 Got a call from this number and could hardly hear the person. I kept asking " who is this " ? and then they hung up. Thought that maybe they would call back but never did. How rude !!!
Like Brian below I got about seven calls that sounded like a fax machine, although not exactly. Kept going to my voice mail using up cell phone minutes. Based on other post sounds like Mercy Medical Center. When I callled the number displayed it said it was not a working number.
