I received the call today 10/14/15 at 4:00 p.m. Please stop this scam! I was asked to call 314-449-9340 because a lawsuit has been filed against me by the IRS. I called the number and asked for their mailing address to give to our sheriff's office and the foreign lady hung up on me. She could barely speak English so I was surprised she could understand what I said.
Shut off any answering device (on landline) and let the phone ring. As long as they get an answer, they're bound to keep calling. Try a call blocking app on a cell. It's a live person most sought after by the caller. No answering device, no messages and given time, they'll stop calling numbers that have no answer.
