I J U S T C A L L E D V I R G I N M O B I L E and this is the whole deal as to why you are getting the calls...... If you have a virgin mobile phone, they sold your number. It happened to me before and just now again. the first time Virgin mobile fixed the problem. I suggest calling them and demanding them to fix it. dont take no for an answer because THEY CAN do it. Just dont ever call that number back and from now on, if you get them again, dont answer it because by answering it, it lets them know your number is active because you answered, so they will continue to call.
If you use Virgin Mobile, Call them. Tell them you know they can block the call. Don't let them tell you they cant because they CAN. They just blocked the number for me about 5 minutes ago and once before about again year ago. Trust me. Tell them people are devoting web pages about this number and tell them there are hundreds getting these calls. Demand they stop it. That is all the advice I have. Hope it works for you.
I dont know why these people are calling me, This is the first time that this number has called me. The problem that I have is they call and then dont leave me a message as to why they are calling.
And they have alraedy called me 5 time in #1 day. The first came at 5pm then 6pm then 7pm and then 8pm and then at 8:30 pm.
I'll an Unlisted number so some how some company has sold my unlisted number to these people.
I called up citi credit card company and somehow by dialing a wrong digit ended up talking to these people who said that I was among the first 25 callers so will get a $200 gas card. They took my C/C details and transferred to an automated recording line which said that there will be a 39.99 charge after 7 days. I figured something fishy and when I refused he said your card has already been billed for 2.95 and if he wanted to charge me he would charge a lot more than that. I got a call from this number 314-627-6987 and the guy said he was from a credit card company, no name whatsoever and introduced himself as Zach.
BEWARE
Call at 8:16 AM. Could not understand him very well. Lots of static and when I asked to have my name removed from his call list told me he could not do this. I gave him NO INFORMATION!
I got the same call when i tried to tell them to stop calling me they hang up the phone without me even getting a word in, and also on the automated part when they ask if u want your number to be removed from the call list they said wait for the beep and put your number in but the beep never came.
This number has called me about 8 times since 7 this morning. I have tried answering, hoping i could tell them to stop calling, but as soon as i answer the phone, they hang up. I am getting extremely irritated. I have a baby due any day now and I really do not need my phone going off at all hours and having it wake up my newborn, and i have to have my phone on because my husband is at work and if something happens, my cell is the only way he can reach me.
