Call back gets "Thank you for calling Americans for Prosperity." It goes on to suggest you look at the website and you can leave feedback, blah blah blah.
We received a call from this number to our land line this evening (8 Feb 2017) at 6:40 pm. Caller ID: Unavailable. My husband answered because he had made some business calls, leaving messages, and thought the call might be one of the business proprietors calling back. When he said "Hello" there was no reply, so he hung up. We think it was a robo call.
Received a call to our land line from this number today (30 Mar 2017) at 9:36 am (Central Time.) Caller ID: Unavailable. Even though I didn't recognize the number, I answered anyway. A young man asked to confirm the name of our household. When I told him it was, he said he was calling on behalf of "Americans for Prosperity" and that he wasn't selling anything. Then he asked if he could connect me with Senator McCaskill's office (D-Missouri) and ask her to vote yes on the confirmation of Gorsuch for Supreme Court. My reply: "You've got to be kidding me." Before I hung up, I pressed the Block Now button on our call blocker.
