Rec'd call just now from this number. Man w/accent said I had been awarded a government grant in the amount of (& this cracks me up) exactly ($9,148.26) & I would absolutely never have to pay it back. I politely interrupted him and told him, first off, remove my number from your list & secondly, I am not an idiot that falls for these scams & to have a nice day.
We have been called multiple times a day for the last few weeks from this number 315-000-0000 , never a message and if it's answered nobody is there , sick of these calls!! We have out our numbers on the national do not call list multiple times and pay phone company for service to block these calls and they still get thru!!
I just got call from this number and wanted to know computer user that needed tech support. I said I was not and he then asked when would be a good time to call them. I asked who he was with and he said Microsoft Operating Systems. I said I never called Microsoft and he hung up on me. Oddest thing is that a couple hours before he called, I had spoken to my internet service provider about an email issue we were having. In the immortal words of the X Files, Trust Noone
