Just got a fake - "this is the IRS - call me back now or the sheriffs will come to your house to arrest you" - call from this number. Had to laugh. Hopefully no one will fall for it.
Received a call from this number saying it was the last call before I was arrested and to call them for my case # and to speak to a Federal agent. My phone said Oswego and the number of 315-207-3304. I'd already read about this scam. Hopefully a SWAT team won't show up.
My son just received a phone call from 315-207-3304, they left him a voice message so I called them back and the guy asks me if my name was Mrs. Brown, I told him yes he repeated her address in Clearfield, UT then he proceeded to tell me that Fraud and tax evasion charges were going to be filed against me in 2 hours. I then told him that the IRS would not be calling me about my taxes or any issues they had and that I knew he was a scam artist and he was the one committing fraud. He hung on me. So I guess Mrs. Brown dodged a bullet.
